Read today that Daniel Metropolis needs a knee reconstruction. Hell of a shame that, I've always liked him as a player

Yeah I saw that too. Damn shame as he played well for us last year. Couldn't seem to do much at the Dockers though and they will now probably delist him.

I hope they dont delist him, i have no idea why he didnt play every game for them. He is certainly good enough to fit into there backline.

That's very sad for Metro. I haven't read about it anywhere, so don't know the details, but it's most unusual for it to happen at this stage of the year.

Good luck with the recovery, old Eagle. You always were too good for the Dockers.

As for Metro, I hope he makes it onto the injury list so he can stick around. It will depend on the new coach.

i haven't heard anything bout metro yet

he has played well in some of the games he played for us this year but i think the fact that he gave away a free kick rite after hawthorn got the goal to give them another would have something to do with the coach not giving him many games but ya neva know maybe he just wasnt performing well at wafl level

Huge shame to hear the news that Metro would miss 2002. Unfortunately for the Dockers they would be kicking themselves since they will now miss 2 years of Metro's services and their disgard, Trent Carroll has done some good things this year.
