Mic up questions at press conferences..

How has this not been addressed yet? Is it really too big a challenge for the AFL? Is it a cost issue?

If not lapel mics then surely we can get a couple of roaming mics going. Anything would be an improvement on straining to hear the question, and in a lot of cases having to guess what it was based on the answer.

IIRC CH 7 did start using a microphone late in the season at the post match pressers after weeks of complaints.

I think you're right but I don't see why it can't be implemented in any controlled environment, H's presser yesterday being an example. Hopefully it continues to improve but it's amazing how long it has taken them to address something so simple.

This has been a pet annoyance of mine for yonks. It's ridiculous in this technological age can't hear the journos questions.
