memphis is the wildcard this year!!

If the NBA introduces a second ball during games, watch out!

Actually, if you watch the tape closely he needs to work on his right hand a little.

i know, he's a hack ;) i say trade him to the lakers!!!

The move at 1.20 I think (both balls going between the legs) is impossible. Honestly, try it and you'll see how hard it is lol.

Great handles just need to develop a consistenly good jumper out to 3pt range and will be a stud.

Good little play maker.

He also needs to improve on his defense and needs to add wieght, he is the darkhorse for ROY and rest assured Memphis wont be making the playoffs this year.

Why? There's a lot of rubbish teams in the West this season, and they should be fighting for 8th spot if everyone's healthy.

There seems to be a bit of a log-jam of decent PG's in Memphis right now. NBA.com has Damon Stoudemire starting, but I doubt that will hold up. Conley Jr should start, but Lowry properly deserves it. Not to mention Juan Carlos Navarro who played the point in Spains championship winning team. He is Gasols first choice PG too, so that might have some say in things.

I don't think Navarro will play too much PG. He's more effective off the ball. Grizzlies are pretty loaded offensively anyway, so I like Conley's chances as he's the best distributor of the lot.

For the first 15 or so games though, I expect a by commission approach until it shakes itself out. Hopefully for me Conley gets the gig, I've loaded up on him in several fantasy squads  His college stats as a freshman are exceptional.

You got a bargain PG in Crittenton last draft anyway PN, but yes certainly Mike Conley is the only guy that can challenge Durant for ROTY if he doesnt get injured.

What about Al Horford? He is my pick for ROTY - well, behind Durant anyway. Word is he might be starting, ahead of either Marvin Williams or possibly even Zaza. Plus he is easily the most NBA ready of all the rooks.

It would certainly make a lot of sense to actually have a defensive player out there for Atlanta. Then again it's the Hawks, and things just don't make sense when they're involved. I wonder if they'll try him at SF :p

When Speedy Claxton goes down, Acie Law should also be able to put up some decent numbers as well.

I thought of Horford but didnt think he would put up ROTY type numbers like Durant or Conley.

The pre-season is starting to change my thoughts already though. Had another handy game today.

Yep, he is a beast. I reckon he will be starting at C within a month. If not at the start of the season.
