Is Malthouse a certainty not to coach next year? I ask this because I caught part of a grab, I think on AFL360 last night, when he was asked about Melbourne's list and he made a cryptic comment inferring that the quality of the list was high. He was then asked about about coaching and, in a very jovial way, after responding as you'd expect him to, as the camera panned off him, he winked at the talking head next to him.

Now, as I said, I only saw a second of this, so forgive me my undoubted ignorance. I'm sure someone out there knows the full story to this - no doubt Mick was just playing around re the circumstances, and no doubt it doesn't mean that might actually consider coaching the Dees in 2012.

Anyone care to fill a brother in?

I saw the same segment, but I am sure it was on channel 10 (one) on Monday or Thursday last week... He seems to be really enjoying playing games with the media at the moment...
