Michael Pickering retires ..

Having experienced first hand ( as a grateful and admiring parent ) Michael as a coach - when the team was a bunch of ratbags and wideboys who struggled in the lower divisions - this is sad news. He took the group to win the YJFL Colts Div 1 flag ( against Luke Shuey amongst others ) and continued with them to cement the link between the quickly expanding junior club , and all the local talent, and the history and character of the senior club at their traditional home. I can only hope that the future respects his contribution to the growth of the club and those individuals who he coached. Thanks Michael .. and all the best.
