For years our most dangerous forward along with Pav and one of the few Dockers to have respect on the East coast.
Well played Michael, you are very, very good.

There was that comeback game against the dees, when he came back from the wilderness, round 16 2012, when he was mercurial, kicking three goals:

And setting up this one with a beautiful kick across the ground to spot up Mayne who dished it off to Clancee, when that player was in the side and used to kick goals from outside 50:

Any vision of NicNat sending the text message which won us that game?

Two of his best games for mine were the last two in 2010 when as a youngster he showed his true potential in our finals campaign. Against the Hawks his stats weren't high but his pressure and involvements in what was his first final and only his 5th or 6th game of AFL was amazing. He followed that performance up by being one of our best (if not the best) in the semi that Geelong flogged us, when he kicked 3 goals and again his involvement, pressure and maturity all night was top level.

Awesome effort by Sonny. There is genuine excitement whenever he has the ball.

Continually sets high standards and stands up in the big games.

But what most impressed me was 2016.
Round 5 we lost Fyfe and Johno, and Ross committed to the "restump, rewire" path.

Round 6 was to be the Crows at Adelaide, a fixture that in 2009 left many a supporter mentally scarred.
It would have been easy for the players, knowing finals were not happening, to drop off 5-10% and for it to be 2009 all over again.

Sonny was everywhere that game. Possessions, goals, tackles, he did the lot.
I think he was one of the main drivers in the team maintaining effort in that difficult time last year, and us not falling off the cliff over the next few fixtures.

I'm looking fwd to the next 100.
