Mick Malthouse Unappreciation Thread

Every body is starting all these apreciation threads so i thought i,d start a unappreciation one.

I cant handle they way he talks to the media, he is always grumpy, and arrogant..

his boy nathan brown deserves a rising star nomination becuase of his opposition..

please, so he deserves it more than my boy cyrol rioli..

the umpires and the afl are stupid..

and lets not forget his description of the martians..

iI,m just sick of hearing this grumpy fool winge and carry on like he is so important...

Sorry but Mick Maulthouse has only said what all the coaches havent had the balls to say.

What he said about the umpires had nothing to with Collingwood getting a raw deal, it was the fact that the free kicks given were even seen as free kicks and he was only echoing what every AFL supporter has been saying about the way our game is going in regards to rule changes.

In regards to defenders not getting recognised for the the Rising Star Award theres only been one thats actually won it - Jared Rivers in 2004 in the 15 years its been given. Hes got a point.
BTW im not trying to say that Brown deserves one infront of any of the other guys i just believe Mick has a point.

I think you will find Nick Holland won it playing as a defender.

On the subject. Mick is good, but god he is hard to like. Felt the same when he was an eagle too so not an anti pie thing.
Got a couple of mates in sports media and they all reckon he is a first rate see you en tee!

Palmer was a worthy winner. His first two games were amazing. Brown will get his in due time

I quite like Mick Malthouse. Sure, he's grumpy and aggressive, but I don't think he's a total tosser like Laidley. Get him away from those after match press conferences and he is quite a deep thinker about the game. His tactic of bringing up Brown is to make sure he's under scrutiny for future nominations. He's just sticking up for his player.
