I don't recall the scrutiny of Geelong being so high by the media when they were winning all the time. Maintain the success anymore and the Dingley base will look more like Bonneville if this trend continues.

I can say for certain Im 80% less likely to watch that because for some reason they've picked a boring as batshit personality as malty to head it up

I expect to hear drivel from the uneducated masses. People who know the game - even the likes of Eddie Mcguire et al know as much as they may dislike the fact the Hawks are winning - their sole ambition is to try and see their club best us.

When you yourself are a Premiership winning coach - and you get to the point of whingeing - you know that there's something wrong.

I think that was burger09's subtle inference.

Reminds me of a joke about Prince Charles going on one of his royal tours in Botwswana or some such unknown backwater. At his first official function he caused quite a stir when he turned up wearing an elaborate hat made of fox fur. Apparently, when he told his mum (ie the Queen) where he was going she was heard to say: "Wear the fox hat?"

Mick has always had a strong sense of entitlement. Wasn't it Mick who advanced his daughter's journalistic career by telling Channel 10 that he wouldn't give interviews to anyone except her?

I think the season should start with the premiership already handed out to each team once every 18 years. We simply play home and away matches and finals to keep people occupied on the winter weekends. This should fit Mick's plan perfectly.
