Guys - just looking at putting a Quaddie on Sandown today. Would it be a fair assessment to say that mid-weeks races have the potential for bigger dividends as less people are on them... absence of the 'Saturday' punters who study the form up and down, and possibly more of the obsessive compulsive punters who just throw money in the pool...?

From what I see there seems to be more short-priced favourites who people load up on... then other chances (with legit hopes coming in) get up and the dividend seems to go big..

thoughts?

How did Cholula run if anyone saw the race? I didn't see it but saw he wasn't in the first 4.

i think you will find this horse has something wrong with him!! he was a distant last today...i guess we will here more in the next few days

weekend hussler was most impressive in the 3yr old 1300m race earlier in the day!!

I didnt see it but Mayfield Smith said on TVN earlier in the day (after G Ashes won) that he was still a run off being ready.

Biggest win Ive seen this year, spanked a horse that apparently Lloyd has an opinion of**.(See C Guineas thread.)

** Must ask Starz,he seems to know the history & future program of all of Lloyd's horses.

I backed MARINE DRIVE in the 6th race at Belmont today.. Alana Sansom draws barrier 4 and ends up 15 lengths from leader last after getting a good start after pulling the horse up.. Makes dives threw the field in the straight and gets up to second on the inside of the winner.. Lost by a 1/2 length... What kind of a moron (excuse my language) thinks they can give a leader 15 lengths start on the bend and win? Especially when she took it on the inside and was weaving threw horses thus slowing her down. NOT HAPPY JAN.. Never backing her on a horse again. The thing would have won by 4 lengths if she had not pulled it up at the start and taken it down the outside instead of weaving threw the inside.
