Just checked the latest standings. The Spurs are rock bottom in the Midwest with a 12-10 record. How many times have you seen the team in last place, even at this early stage of the season, above .500 (.545 to be exact)? Ridiculous.

Only three times in 57 seasons has a team finished last in the Conference/Division with a 0.500 record or better.

1947/48 Western Conference: Chicago Stags - 28-20 (0.583)
1977/78 Pacific Division: Golden State Warriors - 43-39 (0.524)
1982/83 Atlantic Division: Washington Bullets - 42-40 (0.512)

the spurs need to get their ar.se in gear pretty quickly or its going to be tough battle to get into the play-offs.normally they have a great patch after the all-star break but this year it is just too competetive to rely on that

Dont worry about the Spurs, they will be alright. They have a pretty unsettled start to the season with injuries/suspensions to key players.

The Spurs will be alright. You cant expect the Nuggets, Utah and Memphis to keep up the pace they are on. All 3 teams should fall away and let Houston, Minny, SA and Dallas grab playoff spots.
