Mike Denness dies

The former England captain has passed away. He was also a match referee in later years.

I think he was the only Scot to captain England. He was the captain on their "Lillee and Thomson" tour of Australia in 74/75.

When I first saw a picture of Mike I thought he looked like Frank Spencer. In my 10-11 year old mind at the time, there was a good resemblance.
