The above is true if everyone has played each other once.
If a team is in 6th spot after 3 rounds at 2-1 having played Geelong, the Saints and the Bulldogs are they the 6th best team? Who knows, probably not given they have knocked off 2 sides expected to finish high on the ladder.
Another team could sit in 1st at 3-0 having played Richmond, Melbourne and Freo. Does that make them the best team?

Well, no. But at Round 14 it does.

We won't know how we are really travelling for another month.

If we can beat Port and Collingwood and push the Saints and Geelong we can be considered smokies.

Our last 6 have been good wins and should put us in good stead for the month ahead. Exciting times.:)

I can't work out why there is a hue and cry about Mike Sheahan every time he says something that displays his ignorance of the Crows. He has little to no knowledge of any of the sides outside the Victorian border. Living here in Victoria I can assure everyone that Mike Sheahan is not the only Victorian scribe/media identity who knows very little about the Crows.
The guys who actually know footy ie. Healy, Hird, Buckley etc. more than compensate for the know nothing knuckleheads like Sheahan, Robinson, Anderson, Wilson, Niall and co.

another pointless graphic. So Geelong and the Bulldogs aren't in form?

<sigh> It wasnt saying they didnt have form, it was saying based on the last 6 weeks team A had better/worse form than team B.

St. Kilda still haven't beaten anyone above them.

Out of form.

Who gives half a root what that dinosaur says. one of the worst judges of footy in the media.

I've just seen a leak of Monday night's On The Couch. When the topic came to Adelaide, Sheehan shrugged us off as having beaten poor teams and then noted Mark Ricciuto's return to form with 3 goals against the Dockers. He then asked how far away Nathan Bassett was from returning from injury.

He was also impressed with Romano Negri in ruck, and that little #40 Eddie Hocking with five goals.

and yet there isn't a single person on this thread that knows half as much as sheahan.

Know as in "Know information, gossip, inside club info, skeleton in closet type stuff" I would agree with you.

Otherwise I'd have to disagree and wonder on what information you based your assertion.

Are you serious?????

I know more about footy than Mike Sheahan - and yes, we all know what you think of MY knowledge! I even watch more games than he does and he's PAID to! I don't know how many times he (or Walls) say "I haven't watched the game but... (dribbles some lame opinion based on NO information!)". The man knows NOTHING about interstate teams because he chooses not to "inform" himself about them. He still espouses the same "Adelaide: boring game plan blah blah blah" for heavens sake!
