Milk Arrowroot Biscuits

I used to think they were plain and boring, but now I'm addicted for some strange reason. I had 7 yesterday, and 5 the day before that. It's not like they're fantastic, but there's something about them that makes you want another one .. and another one.

An underrated Arnott's bickie I reckon.

We had a friend whose dad every Sat morning gets up and has a bowl of Milk Arrowroot biscuits with milk all mashed up.

He mashes them then pours milk on them, and makes them soft and then eats them with sugar!!!!


That is strange!!

Me, havent had one in years, but used to like them buttered on one side.

Well that totally made me feel sick. That's just wrong. Soft, mushy anything is wrong.

I agree about the buttered on one side though, nicko.

i just dont find them nice so i make everyone else eat them.. they are bland i reckon

Haha, I haven't started one for a while and these biscuits are my only source of inspiration at this time .

For a moment there I thought you meant you hadn't had a THOUGHT in years! Not too sure about the arrowroot biscuits, but used to love the yoyos buttered on one side.

They're the best tasting biscuits, but in big doses you get sick of them, unlike alot of other biscuits.

Ugh. I developed a taste aversion for that about 5-6 years ago, and haven't been able to so much as look at it since without feeling like throwing up. And choc ripple cake tastes so good, too...sigh.

Milk Arrowroot are average at best. I prefer those Malt biscuits myself.

I agree too. I don't go much for butter on ANYTHING, but on these biscuits it works out nicely.

I find it hard to beat the Lattice biscuit. Absolute quality especially for such a middle of the range biscuit.


Lattice Biscuits = Mid. Range Bisc = Top quality/$

Yum, someone mentioned Malt biccies. I also butter them and Maries. The butter really does make them better.
