You want to get quality, you need to trade away quality. Unless you want to offload Deledio or Foley or offload our No 2 pick, I'm afraid there's stuff all he or anyone else can do.
You want sprout off about Miller doing nothing, then offer some alternatives!!!!!! Fuggen experts the lot of you.
Some muppets on here have NFI.
Trade week is the most overrated crap in the AFL calender. Why do you reckon the amount of trades have gone rapidly downhill since its inception? A massive total of nine trades last year in which we fared quite well by getting Polak.
Shut your traps and hold your nerve until draft day. that's when the fun begins.

Needs to do something or else off you go Miller this is your Last Chance!

Could be some interesting PR. Screw the "family clubs". We're the adult entertainment club.

Our membership base will be predominantely single, male, still living at home 35-50 year old virgins.

That is why you call yourself tugga Ok!

its not what he does this week its what happens in november thats gonna matter the most.he must also use pick 1 in the psd wisely and not waste it like he did in 2004.

I agree with Tugga wholeheartedly.

Am I the only one who doesn't think that Miller's done a bad job?

He has got deals done in the past for players who are staples to our side at the minute.

And sure, some draft picks haven't worked out... but hey, show me a club that hasn't picked up a dud or two in the last 5 years.

We've got some quality young talent at the club that are coming up together. Give them time and they will blossom!

Keep the faith Tigeys!

He wants to see Miller in homosexual pr0n.

LOL - if you do Morton for 18, you will see Nisbett doing something to Miller that may qualify for HS pr0n.

i don't necessarily think he has done a bad job....

but!

as it stands - i could have done his job this week i.e got nothing from the judd deal - secure no one - and i would have done it for a lot less $$ and wouldn't give you heartburn by mentioning names like jordan McMahon

he isn't in charge of the recruiting anymore (which our 1st rounders have been terrible since his time at the club ) - we haven't had a sniff at a ruckman - while meesen went for only pick 37, blake re-signed - wood we have not even mentioned - and we have only mentioned Moran

the only players that look like being traded are schulz and meyer both player HE took with with first round selections - and have provided little output

he may not have done a terrible job - but from all aspects - he has effectively done nothing this pre-season to improve the list he is managing

bring on draft day i agree - lets get it right and take cotchin with 2 and get some hidden gems with the other picks - but till then - he has achieved nothng i couldn't do this pre season

apparently its morton and 30 for 18 - which i think is too much also consideriing meesen was only woth pick 37, schulz a late 2nd rounder possibly and meyer a 3rd rounder.

for some reason we value other peoples 1st round failures (we was actally a 3rd rounder - but f/s APPARENTLY he was seen as a 1st rounder ) higher than our own and other clubs value them

for some reason we value ther rubbish a lot higher than evryone els'e rubbish

The bigger side is it looks like Cotchin will go west.

From a Dockers perspective it means we get a shot at Palmer/Masten.

I think I would rather Cotchin than Mortons.

Have you forgotten something?,richmond has pick number 2.

I took taking Morton as a sign you may take the younger Morton.

Cotchin appears a slam dunk pick 1 or 2.

There are no guarantees we want both of them.

we better not want them both - unless miller has a plan to get pick 3:mad:

cotchin = 2

i will accept nothing less
ting sick to death of this teams "smart ass" picks - where it "shocks" everyone and takes a Gilmoure, fiora, JON and so on

TAKE THE BEST FRICKING PLAYER!!!

SIMPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree other than an up and coming foley and a injury prone cogs we have no
decent midfielders,we need cotchin asap.I just hope he is AFL ready like lids was.

Maybe Morton is the best player?
Honest question to you. not being a smart arse as I know how the written word can be easily taken as sarcastic and patronising: have you seen much under age football? hae you seen Cotchin play in the flesh? have you seen Morton play in the flesh? if so, how much have you seen? What makes YOU think that Cotchin is the best player available at No 2? Forget about what everyone else is saying. This is an internet forum. We're all experts and we're nuff nuffs at the same time. Not being smart. Just wanting to know.
My two cents? I refuse to believe that a professional organisation would choose a player who they don't believe is the best player available, purely to get their sibling, who struggles to make the grade at another AFL club. I'm as bitter and twisted as any RFC member, but sorry, I simply won't believe that any club could compromise their future by not taking the best available.
if we take Morton, then I firmly believe that's it's because we believe he is the best available. All the other 15 clubs may disagree, but if the RFC honestly believe that Morton is the best option available to it at that time, then well and good.
But, I haven't seen any of these kids play. i go by what I read here on BigFooty, and we all know, that's not very much to go by.

how do you know that cotchin is the best player?

Exactly! Well done mate. Happens 3 out of every 4 posts. Experts ready with scathing criticism but there's never an alternative forthcoming.
It's exactly like Parliamentary Question Time.
We can all hypothesise and pontificate but it counts for next to nothing unless an option is provided.

I've seen both Cotchin and Morton in action and after considering Millers quote the other day regarding our need for a tall defender, Morton will be chosen. He is 192cm now and has an angular frame with plenty of potential for bulk to develop. He reminds me of a young Chad Cornes in that he is a swing player who could play forward and back but really impresses as a rebounding backman. In 2008 and 9 he will probably settle on a wing.

its been 4 days now greg and still no trades
you better pull you finger out of your a%@e and get moving
otherwise sheeds may have your job next year

he spent to much time trying to screw carlton and he has missed the boat on securing what we need

coll got wood for pick 14
tell me we couldnt have got him with pick 18 and a player:thumbsd:
