Wouldn't let them draw him into who the first pick would be however gave an indication as to who we would look at recycled. Said mcGough out of running as they are looking at a back man and a ruck back up. Knobles name was mentioned first followed by McKee.

Looks like Knoble is heading this way.

Zantuck, is still be touted about, but may have to be pulled back into the fold, soon proberrally this week

He needs to look at every possible avenue of getting rid of this cancer (zantuck). A loose cannon and a bad influence. I hope he languishes in the reserves for the whole year.

We would probably be better off telling Zantuck to p i $$ off, whilst paying out his contract. A lot of youngsters will be playing in the Reserves throughout next year, so i think they should tell him to just pack his bags. At least then he would not have the slightest chance of messing with our future.

Better to cut our losses now, rather than later.

i'm starting to warm to the knobel concept. he can hit it out, and unlike ottens, seems to understand the it only matters if you knock it to the teams advantage. ottens used to tap it down to nobody or the opposition. he is young, and he has been in a culture over the past 12 months at least of young players who excel. McKee would make me not buy a membership. Graham... not keen on. I'd prefer hall, gasper or jackson. even weller would be more prefered than graham. lets face it, graham will not be able to handle a lloyd or gehrig any better than our current options. what is the full story behind zantuck. which senior players have a beef with him? ive heard a few things but nothing really defining.

as my brother pointed out to me benny gale did not really bloom until after he was 24. never know knobel could turn out to be a good pick up, some rucks bloom very late, and apart from his last 2 games he can get the footy. graham would probly be a backup only, and would stop us having to play the likes of kel moore and jackson on top line players. yes graham might not be any better but at least him being thrashed will not harm us long term like a jackson or moore would. as for zantuck astro, its looking like things are going to have to be sorted out by both parties there as the bombers and kangaroos seem to be looking to other options like caracella who has walked on the lions. seems we are stuck with him.

yeah graham would be much like Mick Martyn at carlton. A bigger body to give time for Thornton to bulk up. but Martyn really didnt offer Carlton anything, and Thornton still ended up getting moved onto those players, cos mick was too slow. IS GASPER REALLY THAT GONE??? I mean Gasper surely will be a better player next year? he cant keep blaming his knee. a backline of

Zantuck, Gasper, Jackson
Campbell, Shultz, Kellaway
with - moore, hall, chaffey pettifer, bowden and co working in and out as match ups depends - is graham gonna add to that. i would want him only if we pay him peanuts and if he helps the cheer squad with the banners.

Zantuck - I would love a magic wand to be waved and all ill concerning him to be gone. he was going places with us i thought. i remember him playing a very strong game on lloyd in Knights last game. He is a rare agro strong man in the yellow and black. but thats richmond. full of what ifs and if onlys.
Fiora before Pavlich still hurts me.

Hey astro.

what gives with supporting Richmond & carlton ?????

Family thing. family were made carlton supporters, then i decided when i was 4 to go for richmond(1984 bad timing hey?). he was pretty ********ed but made a deal with me he would take me to richmond games if i kept going to carlton games with him. done deal, hence i ended up seeing carlton play as often as the tiges. The Tigers are my number 1 though.. but get memberships for both.

It would have been a stranger thing back in the seventies when they were genuine rivals but unfortunately our form over the last twenty years hasnt really kept the rivalry burning at what it should be. Electronic scoreboards at the MCG aside that is.

Lets hope Wallace can get the side up and with Pagan doing what people expect him to do we can get the rivalry to the point where you have to ditch the Blues.

Id love to see a Richmond Carlton Grand Final.

ever find that you abuse yourself at richmond carlton games? i kid.

Richmond always get priority still. But there has been some interesting times over the years:)

one that left me a little numb was round 21 in1994 when we needed to either beat carlton or geelong in last two rounds to FINALLY make the finals. We lost by 123 points. ...

then i got my own back when carlton had to win to make the finals in the last round at optus. Carlton shot to an early lead and i was pretty happy thinking "well carlton will make the finals and at least i can get this ******** year over with" then RFC came back. As soon as they started to get a sniff i couldnt help myself and started going for richmond. Dad cracked it a bit, but we won...:)

2001 final was interesting.... can you believe it - they finally met in a final.... AND I WAS I LONDON!!!! i'll have to wait another 20years for that to happen again....

and 2003 was a shocker. Really didnt want to lose to the hopless carlton team -and Fiora gave away a soft free in front of goal to fisher.... I cracked the ********s and left before he even kicked the ball - without saying bye to the rest of the family. to make things worse..Murphy kicked 5...

I didn't first like the idea of grahem but i definetly will be putting my faith into wallace. He said he will be drafted for a specific role and basiacally that is to look after the young defenders like shulz and jackson.
