Prior to his suspension he kicked 16.8 from 5 games. After the suspension he has kicked 6.11 from 7 games. What's going on with him these days? Did that suspension alone completely shatter his confidence and form, or is it something else?

I'm not sure what role the suspension might play in it, but he has definately lost all confidence. It was interesting to read in the Herald Sun a while ago that last season Milne was the player that was penalised most for holding the ball, but so far this year he hasn't been penalised for this once. Maybe he isn't taking as many risks as before, or maybe opposition sides have worked out all his tricks and have found he is a one dimensional player. I also think the team's game plan has altered over the last month or so, which has definately effected Milne's form. Prior to our poor performances against Port, Melb and Ess, our midfield had been dominating and we moved the ball quickly and directly. This gave the likes of Gehrig, Riewoldt and Hamill the best chance to mark, and if the ball hit the ground then Milne had some space to work with. Now, however, we continue to persist with stuffing around with the footy through the midfield and our delivery into attack has hurt every forward, not just Milne. His current form and lack of confidence will probably earn him selection for Springvale this week.

Yeah he was great till he got suspended, which was an act of stupidity in itself. Since he came back he's done nothing. He should kick a few goals in the twos, and return in a couple of weeks.
