A friend of mine told me about these new ads. They are standard banner ads like you would see on any website but they resonate at a high frequency to stimulate a person's brain to "trust" them so they will buy the product. It's all on their website http://www.trustbanners.com/

One on hand this is a really interesting new advertising concept but on the other hand it is total mind control. I really don't know how to feel on this. What do you guys think?

The advertising does nothing. Show me some physical proof and I will believe it, Stimulates the visual cortex? My ass.

And it says we can only consciously see 30 frames a second. Shame we don't see frames, but how many photons reach our retinas. Want proof? Watch a 60+fps video and you can see the different.

The website is a crock of ****.

Thinking about it some more. AFAIK light waves don't resonate, they can superposition but that is a somewhat different topic. There is no resonant frequency for light, resonation only applies to sound waves.

I think that is right, coming from first-year uni physics.
