Yeah ok we lost today but cmon who thought after round 1 losing to the bloody giants or at 1-3 we would finish first

Think we have to be pretty bloody proud of the way the boys have stormed back since then

Its easy to always focus on the negative part of the team but theres have been some massive positives in this exciting year

Just 3 more wins to go

I get what you are saying, but right now it does mean something, its not the goal of the comp and yeah ok first and second is basically the same. But from where we were it does mean something it shows a great fight and a great recovery of a season, it will also have meaning if we go on with it too, none of this you won the flag but x team finished first

Plus cant we just be positive in one thread?

Maybe because I grew up with football rather than AFL I think finishing top of the table is the greater achievement. That's the league done, now for the post-season cup competition.

I know that it doesn't mean much but I agree, I never thought that we would even finish top 4 let alone become minor premiers after our terrible 1-3 start so it's a pretty good achivement, now to continue on for these next (hopefully) 4 weeks

Oh and it's just a bonus- but so glad buddy got the Coleman!

I can't even find a photo of this Mclelland Trophy...shows how much it means..
Top 2 is an awesome achievement though and the major goal of the H and A season.
Minor Premiership will not mean anything if we cant win the whole thing.
