Early in the final quarter, we had the chance to extend our lead with shots or get back into the game late in the quarter, but blew it.

I still cant understand how Hasleby missed a set shot 45 metres out from a 45deg. angle to put us back to within five points. I'd back him to kick that goal nine times out of ten.

Also, Medhurst missed an easy goal from crumbing off the pack and Pavlich missed a few relatively easy set shots as well.

Perhaps we should take a leaf out of the E-Girls book and train at a different ground during the week we play away?

The team played well in patches, but the up side is to see us do so well in Sydney (not a happy hunting ground) and with players like Bell, Hasleby, Simmonds, Woods etc who WILL bounce back. We are keeping the same group of players on the ground and in the long run that is a great benefit.

Good to see Croad & TLo show what getting your confidence up in the WAFL, means.

I reckon what hurt us most was OLoughlin carving us in the 1st half. McPharlin was carved and shouldve been moved ASAP !!!!!
