As its been said already this is nothing to with football except that its a football player.
Nothing to do with on field stuff, only the guys life.
Grow up. I'm not Morton's biggest fan but i hope to see him back at the club asap.

Richmond Football Club advises that Mitch Morton has stepped away from the Club for a short period to deal with a personal issue.

Richmond will continue to support Mitch during this time and expect he will return to the Club in the near future.

Hopefully he's back soon. Would make sense given his form earlier in the season, definitely looked like something was weighing on him. I for one am willing to be patient and hopeful it will be worth it if he sorts it out.

The club ADVISED him to take time off, he didn't request to take time off.

The way it is written makes people more curious and unless hutchy, Barrett or Caro already know the full details they will begin spreading their own views- commencing on the footy show tomorrow night...

mitch has depression and needs some time off,as im from perth i know people close to him,best of luck mitch
