As a professional footballer you should be able to do both set shots and snaps and be confident in your ability.

why do some have a better conversion rate from 40+ instead of 15-20 metres out? like sumich, fevola, buddy

Oh I completely agree that professional footballs should be able to be as successful in anyway that they kick for goal, but after watching Morton play for us for the last couple of years I am pretty sure I have seen him kick more accurately on the run or around the corner then going back and kicking from a set shot.

I can't actually back this up with facts, as I have none on me, but from what I have seen he just seems generally more confident playing around the corner and to me in that situation he needed to just back himself in and go with what he knows best.

If it was any other player I would be pretty annoyed with them playing on/

No I wouldn't because he has to learn at some stage how to kick them from set shots,he'll be in this position again and will be found out by the opposition sides he likes to play on and they will ping him with a tackle or even push him so he loses balance and misses I guarantee it.

They were both involved heaps of victories last year so i'm sure they know the words to the theme song. The season being done and dusted I rather see them work on their deficiencies and develop their skills for the future.

while its great he got a goal with his snap he need to remove it from his game completely.

morton already cost wallace his job and will probably cost the new coach his job if he continues being selfish and dicing with lady luck.

morton gets a lot of goals from handballs to him in the goal square, but his shots from anything over 20m is not great. the new coach should take him aside and tell him he need to learn how to take a set shot or he will be delisted.
