Moloney??

This could prove to be a very costly move by the Cats. I think (and you guys prob do as well) that he will go on to be a star of the comp.

I hope the Ottens move comes off for you and he can provide an effective target but I wouldn't be too happy to have given away Moloney.

Look, Geelong had to make a choice, and its likely Trading away Kelly, Tenace, Bartel or Johnson couldve been just as hurtful or even more hurtful. Moloney is a good young player, but we had to make a call. Its likely Tenace will be a better player than him, but if Ottens doesnt perform, yes, it will hurt us.

We're damned if we do and damned if we don't. If we hadn't of traded Beemer everyone would be saying " Oh, I can't believe you didn't go for Ottens etc". You can't win. But the Cats have done the right thing.

I know we used a number 7 pick on Tenace but i think Moloney will be a better player. He's tough and actually reminded me a lot of Buddha Hocking. I just wish we could have given Enright or Gardiner instead.

AS a Melb supporter I'm very happy of getting Moloney. But it should be a win win for both clubs. Both sides have a very good young list hopefully we will both be up there in the finals even know it's a old year for us.
