Moloney?

hey guys just wondering how Moloneys pre-season is goin?
i know he missed a lot of last year due to injury.
is he playing against geelong this weekend?
and if so do u think Moloney and bizzel will be playing round 1?

I think he has had an interrupted pre-season because of injury, which isn't a good sign. He played approximately half a game against Richmond on Saturday but didn't do much.

I'm sure once he gets some match fitness up he will play some good footy, but it would be good if he started to develop his whole game in general. He seems a bit of a one-dimensional player at times (get the ball, run straight and kick it long) and although that is a good trait in theory, I'd like to see some more footy smarts by him.

He will play Round 1 and I suspect Bizzell will too. His pre-season has been pretty good, not like the 02-04 Bizzell, but still a handy wise head down back. Can't say if he will play 22 matches but I would mark him down for Round 1.

I think Moloney will play Round 1, but Bizzell won't. Bell and CJ have both had excellent preseason form and are competing for the same spot as Bizzell.
Beamer has played our last two practice matches if I remember corectly, and if he plays against Geelong he'll play Round 1.
Beamer showed last year he didn't always look to smash it long as much as he used to, and as big a kick as he is he is also a great user of the ball when he actually thinks about what he is doing.

Moloney will be like a new recruit this season giving us that extra run and booming kick that we really missed last season in the finals.

As for Bizzell........well he can lay with his mates at Sandy this year because Daniel Bell is the new Bizzell circa 2004/2005
