If anyone gets a chance have a read of the article in the HS that has an interview with Sam Lonergan about his concerns over the Essendon Supplement (Doping) Program. Within it he mentions the great support he received from the RFC despite only being at the club for a short time. For all the things that everyone deals with in terms of on field with the RFC. I must give them absolute praise for the way the club is run these days in every other aspect.

Really good article and a lot of positives about the RFC, which is great!! The tone of it though from my reading is a little back hander to efc. I think he was genuinely hurt by his treatment from them as indicated in an early article after he crossed to RFC saying he was still unsure of why they let him go. I also recall an Essendon poster saying he believed there were a few ahead of him on the choping block. From the Tigers to the Tigers , I like. All the best to him..

Another great advert that the club is a completely different beast these days - apart from on the field (which is still cause for optimism IMO) we really are firing on all fronts beautifully!

They should do a documentary one day of how the sleeping giant transformed itself from a club of mediocrity into a powerhouse once again!
