Interested in who people warm to the most in the coaching fraternity.

(note: have allowed multiple votes in case there is a handful that you like)

Depends, gotta love Bomber for his antics, but both Clarkson, C.Scott and Hinkley you have to respect for their ruthlessness and commitment to playing aesthetically pleasing football and Malthouse for the lols.

Agree with a previous post, Mick Trollhouse for the lols

During pressers Ross Lyon cracks me up.... Malthouse too
fair few former North boys in senior positions now, so they pretty good...

Don't mind Bomber for his antics, big fan of McCartney, Hinkley, Hardwick and Clarkson.

Can't stand Malthouse of the current crop.

I wish more of our supporters did  Gets a pretty hard time considering the enormity of the task he took on.
Not getting a fair go, I don't think.

He's an educator, why aren't teams allowed down years between improvement?

I think the end of 2013, despite the wins coming against depleted/cellar-dweller teams/Carlton, gave everyone a lot of false hope, expecting we'd be back in the 8 in 2014.

The reality is that our squad is still horribly imbalanced because of abhorrent drafting during the mid-late 2000s, and we're going to have to bring a few drafts worth of players in and get them to 50-100 games. I can't think of many better people for the job than McCartney, given his record at Geelong. Some pretty big names speak very highly of him so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and see where he can take us. I think it's already starting to bear fruit watching the likes of Macrae, Hrovat and Bontempelli among others, but who knows where they'd be at if they ended up elsewhere.

He's certainly not running a poisonous football department - the players are all right behind him and we're not hearing whispers of dissent as we used to.

I've actually really warmed to Clarkson the last season or so. I enjoy listening to him talking about the game.

Longmire, meh, he's just so dull and vanilla.

Ken Hinkley, but I'm biased because I actually worked with Ken in the early 2000s. I found him to be a VERY likeable bloke before becoming a likeable coach. I'm not surprised the Port players adore him and that he's been able to get the best out of them.
