Before this year I would have said Aaron Black who despite reliably playing well at AFL level whenever called on was being treated as a guaranteed delisting. Feels like his work down back earned him some long overdue respect, followed by tragedy. Hard to see where his path leads from here.

In lieu of Blacky I'd be inclined to go with Tuohy. People underestimate just how potent his weapons are and overstate his downside.

The opposition coaches have a better appreciation of Tuohy's value than do many of our own supporters.
That's why they've been tagging him with a defensive forward for most of the season.

Irrespective of the newish player.. it’s amazing what a little patience to let them develop can yield.

Not saying that everyone will come good - but blitz, Kolo, Stewart, Henry, Bews, Cunico have all gotten better over time.

I saw a report somewhere today that Tuohy is/was responsible for most of our goals from outside 50 last year.

I was a bit surprised initially - but it makes sense, he's a beautiful long-range kick.

Parfitt is one classy customer, but to see him *that* high still took me by surprise.
