Having lived over there, seeing the videos reminded me how annoying Taiwanese variety shows are...

My first reaction was "crap, that's a guy?!" The kid has some pipes, but it's still a little bit unnerving to hear a guy singing that style of song. Typical Asian song selection, brings back (bad) memories of singing the limited range of English pop songs at karaoke in Taiwan...
