Moving back

I'm thinking about heading back to Australia to live.
Would North Melbourne be a good place to live nowadays. I see from the thread about the club getting involved in local planning issues that it may have changed in the last few years.

Or.Anyone know a good country town. Not too cold

Won't be of much help in the househunting but I must say (if you indeed do come back) you couldn't have chosen a better time period to arrive. In a couple of years time we'll be right up there with the best of them.

Ballarat might be suitable if you want to see local AFL footy some time in the near future, probably too cold though.
