Hey,

I have some wrestling shows i downloaded that i want to put onto DVD. I have a burner and i want to put them onto DVD so i dont clog up HDD space and i can watch them on the DVD player.
I'm after a tutorial or something like that on how to make my MPEGs and WMV

Any Help?

Thanks.

If they're only in MPEG format I can't really see the point of converting them to DVD (you won't gain any picture or sound quality by doing so). You're much better off making a VCD (provided, of course, your DVD player can play VCDs. Most of them do these days).

WMV are a pain as they are M$'s own format.

IIRC WMV and ASF are two of M$'s formats that format conversion software makers are reluctant to make available as M$ suprisingly threatened to sue them.

As for converting them I'm with Monster Joe. it's probably best burning them onto a VCD or even SVCD if you can be bothered. Unless they are really good quality WMV's and MPEG's putting them on a DVD is a waste of a disk.

Best bet is to find TMPGEnc and use nero to burn as a VCD SVCD. Though you may have to download another SVCD codec for nero.
