Ablett was more on the nose for me today.
Were his hands coated in butter? Because he dropped enough ball to make me believe so.
Was he weighed down by the rain? Because he was slower than a wet week.

McVeigh played better than Mathews, but both should be dropped. And as for Ablett, he is on the brink of getting the chop. What were they thinking! Dropping Schneider was the worst move I've seen in years.

Definitely could have used a decent crumber in the wet. Seemed like every time the ball hit the deck in our forward line Geelong swept it away.

I totally agree. Schneider hasn't been getting a lot of it, and has been down on form a little but is light years ahead of Mcveigh and Matthews at the moment.

Mathews, McVeigh and Dempster are not deserving of a spot at the moment. Mathews is finished, but he was finished two years ago and I fear that in two years we'll be saying he was finished four years ago. McVeigh and Dempster are both major disappointments this year. Neither of them seem to WANT the football - maddening considering they have all the attributes to be amongst our best run-and-carry players.

That's harsh because IMO he has been ok this year, but i agree with you when it comes to McHack and Dempster they both have potential. Dempster's awareness on saturday was atrocious when pinged for HTB in front of goal but in some fairness to him Leo should have screamed at him"girl on"

I think it is more the lack of talk than Dempsters awareness. That has been a very poor part of our game this year I feel.
