I know people thought this would happen but its frankly ridiculous.

Am I the only one who can’t see where he threw his head forward (rather than being engaged in a tussle) and made contact? I see the initial coming together but there was no contact then walters faces away and lockhart holding his head....can't be based on the footage only...cause it didn't look intentional tbh

I'm not as confident as some he'll get off. Regardless of what the official rules say, head butts, kicking and pinching are all in that group of 'breaking the honour code' of offences. Just whack the guy next time.
Carlton beat Brisbane and got within a goal of Doggies also coming off a bye. Not easy beats.

My freo tinted glasses obviously wanted him to get off, but not surprised it hasn’t. It’s just something you don’t do.
Had a look at the vision again. Both players lowered their heads and walk towards each other.
With my Freo tinted glasses on, it’s even arguable who head butted who (assuming that is even counted as a headbutt).

Problem is what they’ve caused with the MRP this year. If all low impact insufficient force type things were a week, I’d be ok with Walters copping a week.
But there’s literally no clarity on what constitutes low impact.

I would LOVE to see some side on vision of the players moving towards each other, this is a bloody joke, it isn't even enough force to call it a headbutt in my mind

i think the MRP write up he said that due to limited vision the umpires evidence was factored in.
