Wednesday + 550
San Antonio
New Jersey +5
Chicago
Denver
x $200 = $600

Roddick win x $400 = $550

Thursday + 50
Chicago win
Cleveland win
x $50 = $100

Friday
Miami @ 2.15 (would expect they will just kill them on the boards)

probable Denver will win but I'm not touching it
nothing to gain from San Antonio

Hope to keep the streak alive.

I wouldnt be taking New Jersey to beat Miami, Miami have hit top form and are probably travelling as good as anyone right about now, they disposed of Chicago the other day and the Bulls have been very consistant.

The Zim Zams look like they are going to beat Ireland as well, they are 5 down but are only chasing another 50 or so runs with 5 wickets.

Zim Zams tie with Ireland, what a joke.
There goes the multi.

Here is mine for today

Spurs vs Bucks under 192.5 -$1.87
Lakers vs Nuggets under 212.5 -$1.90
San Antonia to win -$1.30
Denver to win $1.47
Golovin to win (tennis) $1.28
Roddick to win $1.40

=$12.17

I like that. The Spurs vs. Bucks game should be a certain under 192.5 as long as Redd doesnt fire up. 212.5 is alot to score. San Ant and Denver I have too.:thumbsu: and well the tennis ones should be a certainty.

The more I look at it the more solid it looks. Tennis can be high risk at this end of a tourney... and I just have a feeling Spurs or Nuggets lose... not justified however, will see.

Re: Miami @ New Jersey

Its a bit of a 3 point shootout early. Moore, the only genuine tall man got into foul trouble early but then Shaq followed him... could have been big if Shaq was out there alone.

as it is they are matching on the boards, which is where I thought an advantage would be... expect Miami to be able to pull through.

@ 2.15 they were always good value on 7 match winning streak. :thumbsu:

Will come down to the wire though I imagine.

Yeah it is in the balance... Jersey are nailing these 3 balls everywhere. Shaq with 3 fouls... you would hope he gets plenty of time in the second half but an early foul (which jersey will be gunning for) could spell trouble for Miami.

Hello in Nothern Tasmania also, Launceston here.

(Also my feelings re Spurs game are correct, when your on a roll your on a roll (my gamblin))

Haha Ulverstone here.

Put a safety bet on SJ Sharks and Roddick($2.07) to attempt to recover the NHL multi that seems to be going wrong. But Boston just went mad and scored 2 goals very quickly so it may not have been needed. . .

Looks like the Bucks are performing for the new coach. Will hurt everyone on here.

except me, only Heat for me today. NHL... whats like like, seems like soccer to me. No thanks. Can be ok to watch.

Good luck

Its ok to watch but I also watch soccer! but I dont like to bet on it much, results vary far too much.

The game I safeguarded with another multi on has gone to OT, interesting now . . . .

EDIT: And now a shoot-out.

EDIT2: And a win to Boston! Woot. Very good since Ottawa just won 5-1. Vancouver left to finish it off.

I have this funny feeling Roddick might lose this one. Get on Ljubicic

Zimbabwe, what a joke, 50 runs to win and 5 down and they get beate, pathetic.

7 point lead to the Bucks with under 5 to go, Pro your under 192 is looking a little shaky at this stage, may hold on though but its a toss up.

Miami have been to strong for the the Nets in the second half and should hold on.

well guys my Miami @ 2.15 looks like it pulled through the best.

Denver & Lakers to go for those others who had a hand in that (not me)

The value just wasnt there for San Antonio... they were on the road... short priced... and against a Bucks team who regularly pull out strong games (and weak ones)...

New Jersey simply didnt have anyone who could stop Shaq, they are just lucky the got in foul trouble or it could have been a lot uglier in hindsight.

Good luck over the weekend guys - I'll try get some multi bets up (NBA) later on

I only just opened up an online account last week as I like a bit of punting, and being out of the loop here in Korea punting will hopefully make sure I kept track of the sports results a bit more closely.

I've launched my first multi-bet for this weekend and hope it goes alright, I'm pretty conservative when it comes to gambling so I only put $2 on and picked fairly safe bets though my multi-bet still cashes out at just over 9 to 1 if successful, so that's not bad at all.

Here's my multi-bet for the weekend:

Rugby Union: Six Nations - 2007 Six Nations Winner ~ FRANCE 1.40
AFL: AFL Pre-season NAB Carlton-Brisbane Head to Head ~ Carlton 1.82 Soccer: EPL Chels-ShfU Result ~ Chelsea 1.13
Rugby League:NRL Rd1 Manly-Canb Mrgn ~ Manly 13+ 1.80
Cricket: WC G6 England-New Zealand Head to Head ~New Zealand 1.75
Combined Price ~ 9.07

Yeah good luck with it mate. I like England in the cricket for some reason.

Early look at tomorrows NBA

The only games I will consider touching are...

  1. Dallas to win (not the line)
  2. Phoenix -6, at home, high scoring team vs a team that doesnt score high. I just think Phoenix will be too much. Hype surrounding Detroit recent form should get you some good returns. Detroit on long road trip.
  3. Golden State -4.5, dont usually like to bet on bad teams but after a win against Dallas and a 4 day layoff at home Golden State should be ready to take on Wolves (who struggled against Indiana of all teams).

So that should get you odds of about 3.85

Who I'm not touching...

Miami - not sold on todays performance, travel & Kings show an ability to put points up, whereas Heat have been scoring low. Might be a good time to get off Miami.

Toronto/Houston - Toronto at home, Houston scoring handy totals.

no other games of interest.

Hope that gives people some thoughts.

[/LIST] Wont that be about $1.05?

yeah... very likely... thats what I went with 1.05 x 1.91 x 1.91 = 3.83

anything is a bonus I guess in that game

RECAP
NHL today.

Ottawa, Vancouver and Boston for $2.76. - Winner

Basketball

Miami @ 2.15
San Antonio @ $1.28
Denver @ 1.47
Iraklis @ 1.36

total= $5.50. Good good. :thumbsu: - LOSER

SJ Sharks + Roddick - $2.07 - WINNER

The $2.76 NRL one gave me value for money. Boston came from 3-0 down and won in a shoot-out, Ottawa won 5-1 and Vancouver won in OT!

Basketball - Bloody Spurs. Denver are looking good and I like that Greek team. None-the-less the SHarks-Roddick safety bet covers the loss well.

Away from multis I got the Kiwis and the North Queensland Cowboys tonight.
