Nice job but not many people will believe you since you've posted it after its all over. . . . . .

Fair point, I just came across the punting board about a week ago, and only back on big footy for about 3 weeks did not see the point with filling up the thread with multi that was more for fun and to make the day at work go a little quicker.

You would think the excitment levels would lift a little wouldnt you.

These multis ive been having are more for fun whilst at work, $20 here , $10 there nothing big. If I was deadset it wouldnt be with the NBA thats for sure, ill save my $$$ for weekend events.

I will have a crack this weekend with the NRL, looking forward to the weekends matches.

Got nothing out of it really... I guess it was a certain leg in my multi which meant I only had to land 1/2 to break even... lets not talk about the 2/2! arrrrh

I'm looking towards Saturday already. IM me if you've got any thoughts... I'm going big that day. I need redemptions (or another kick in the guts prob)

Take the Bulldogs to win +13, the Storm straight out over Canberra and Newcastle at Home over St.George straight out. Throw those 3 in a multi, not sure what odds you will get will be under $4 I would think though.

so far i had picked

bulldogs -6.5 $1.9
cowboys 13+ $1.9
storm straight out $1.2
warriors straight out $1.5
st.george straight out $1.50
total odds $9.747

I may be wrong but i assume that st.george are at home against newcastle. it says the game is at OKI Jubilee Stadium. I just assume that is st.george home ground but like i said i am just starting to get into it.
Also i know that johns is a huge part of the newcastle team and with him out i thought st.george would be good things. i hope:o

Gasnier means just as much as Joey, and Newcastle are always good early on in the season. Tough one to pick but you will get nice odds without Joey playing and with Gasnier out that is the leveller.

Tige, Gasnier is a gun but let's be honest, no one means as much to a team as Johns does to the Knights. I remeber hearing last year that the TAB can't get anyone to put a cent on the Knights if Johns isn't playing.

Yeah after watching the footy show last night and seeing that all picked the knights to win except one bloke it has made me think and change my bet.

I will now be taking this:
Bulldogs to win $1.45
West Tigers to win $1.50
Storm to win $1.20
Cowboys to win 13+ $1.90
Warriors to win 6+ $1.85
Total $9.17

Mate I disagree, St.George look like a new side, no Barret no Gasnier?? thats the nucleas of there attacking backline with those 2 in and around the centres, they are the Cousins and Judd of St.George and lets face it Joey Johns was a far less player lasts season than ever before. I know he is the heart and sould of the club but as far as his output has been, it has declined considerably.

I would have taken the Bulldogs +13 and had Brisbane straight out, your very game taking the Warriors at +6.

All the best for it.

A couple of unlikely multis in the NBA today.

Portland ftw @$3.05 with Denver/chicago over 202.5 and Phoenix/Sacre under 216= $11.13

Memphis and Denver ftw @ $6.56

NRL:

Penrith+Cronulla ftw= 5.41

Melbourne+NQC+Broncos(+12.5)+Parra(+12.5) = $2.86

Heh in the SMH today no "experts" picked the Knights, all dragons.

Who do you believe? :D Im simply not going near it after the Knights gave me a win last week. :thumbsu:

Lakers/Grizzlies - Game Total 212.5+
Chicago -3.5/Game Total 203.5+
Suns/Kings - Game Total Under 216.5
Odds - $11.30

Det +3.5/Under 181.5
Chi -3.5/Over 203.5
Odds - $12.07

I have changed again for the last time. i am going to place this bet right now.
bulldogs to win 7+ $1.97
west tigers to win $1.50
Storm to win $1.20
Cowboys to win 13+ $1.90
warriors to win $1.5
odds $10.10 :thumbsu: i will place $20 on it!

With Barrett going to England, Gasnier was going to be playing five-eighth this year, so whether he could have the same impact playing in the halves as he did in the centres was yet to be seen. Johns is one of the best players to ever play the game and NSW coach Graham Murray certainly doesn't think his output has declined. He was quoted today as saying Johns and Lockyer are to the two best players in the country by a long way. Johns' stats in 2006 saw him again ranked the MVP by the Daily Telegraph's analysis team and if you think his output has declined check out a replay of the Knights win over Manly in the finals last year. Johns lifts the blokes who play with him as well where I don't believe Gasnier does.

Good luck to you, but we've heard that before, haha.

Heh thanks Pro-Punt and Daniel but Phoenix/Scare is the one I'm most worried about. Portland were always good against a Knicks side that doesnt know what form is and the Bulls done have a game plan so were always going to try and match Denver's high-scoring gameplan. Suns/Sacra is touch and go. Suns games have gone 50/50 under/over 216 recently. :o

Still like Memphis and Denver though. Denver should be able to out-score them in the end and the Lakers are just hopeless lately.

The Suns/Kings game will pretty much depend on how the Kings shoot because we know that Phoenix are going to score. Im tipping a score of around 106-92
