The sun set on another day in the village, the broken body of Red Mist swaying steadily in the wind, no one having dared move him from the tree on which he hung, afraid in equal measures of facing the villager they had betrayed, and determined to send a message to the evildoers amongst them.

As one villager drew a long sip from his third pint of the night, the door to the tavern slammed heavily in the wind. Jumping, he turned, and saw a hairy shape bound through the door. The wolf leapt on the table, snarling at the sight of the scared villager, tearing the man's throat out, and escaping through a nearby window before anyone else could react. Sante slumped to the table.

Bet on Blue clutched his head, trying to divine the identity of a fellow villager. The man had been very talkative during the day, and Bet on Blue was sure he was hiding something "Tell me what Sante is.." he murmured, having spent hours umming and ahhing about his decision. Sadly he would receive no answer, other than the knife stabbed repeatedly in his chest by the mobster who had tracked him down.

The Filth Wizard wiped his knife clean, happy to have knocked off a threat to his Godfather, but in doing so failed to notice the masked crusader until it was too late, ironically dying of a knife wound as well, as his throat was slit silently in the night.

Paramedics were busy during the night, responding to calls from numerous people through the night. BigJoeD_ swiped his brow as he finally settled into his armchair, exhausted after a long night of fighting evil forced. A screech sounded from outside his window. Frowning at the noise, Joe turned to close his curtains, but the bat took exception to this, swooping through the window and clawing Joe's face viciously. The Doctor was dead.
