Murphy or Stevens???

While both players are in the news on this board for both good and bad reasons lately i want to know if you could choose only "one" to have in the team and the other had to move on who would you pick with both at the same stage of their careers. I.e Consider both of them the same age when voting( Imagine Stevens at Murphs age) so Stevens does not get voted against because he is older.

It seems both have Critics and i would be interested in what the Majority rule on? For me it is Murphy hands down. But each to there own and try to keep it Civil while posting opinions and personnal abuse isnt needed if someone does not agree with your opinion.

I had this discussion today with fellow workmates who are Blues supporters and some that arent and i wanted to see what this board thinks!

Murphy easily, alot more upside to Marc than Nick. Murphy can play both in and under and outside midfield, Stevens is more a outside midfielder.
Murhy seems to have alot more time with the ball than Stevens who can at times panic into a quick kick or ill directed hanball.

Still glad we have both.

Would be a LOT harder to pick between Murphy and Gibbs.

If game 1 is any indication, Murphy is moving into the group of elite midfielders....
Loved Murph from the moment i first saw him play.

Murph easy for me i love the way he goes about his footy.

He's easily my favourite player atm although if Walker plays a full season he will have some competition.
