Murphy out of selection contention

Essendon's season might be two weeks away from finishing but Bomber coach Kevin Sheedy isn't about to let his players get away with anything but their best - just ask Justin Murphy. "He’ll be in the seconds this week, he’s got to lift his act to play AFL footy. He’d had terrific form for us up until about the last five or six weeks and he has dropped off," Sheedy said.

No Wonder we are going so bad, if sheeds reckons he has had terrific form.
What a joke. Murphy will be there next year by the sounds of sheeds, he loves him

Gee, it must have hurt them to drop him, hasn't he been just inspirational this yr we could see the team lift when he has been out there. I'd like to know his stats in the time sheeds referred to in the article and whether we had won or lost that game.

I cant wait Sunday to watch the footy w/o him playing in the team.

About bloody time as well.

What I don't want to see is Murphy out for one week. Playing on a back flank in the VFL and picking up 40 cheap possesions and then coming back into the side for Round 22.

He shouldn't come back in this season and I really don't think we need him anymore. I would rather see a younger player be given the game time.

one can only hope that we have seen the last of justin murphy in our jumper. no doubt will be cheaply traded to some other foolish club.

the NTFL is too high a standard for this bloke
