5. J O'Neal
6. Baron Davis
7. Jason Kidd
8. Zach Randolph

11. Brand
12. AI
13 Vinsanity
14. Sam Cassell
15. Stephon Marbury.

HoopsHype MVP Race Article

Personally I do not think that this is far off. Especially when you look at which players won Player of the Month awards. Suprise is Jason Kidd being at 7 and below Baron. I would probably have him at say 4 or 5.

Shaq at 4?? He hasnt played enough games and in the games he has played he has been well below what we have come to expect from the big fella. Yeah probably because Malone and Payton have joined his team, but thats the price you pay.

Shaq doesnt have a hope in hell of winning the MVP. And to put him in front of a guy like Kidd who has a genuine shot at it is just funny...

B-Davis at 6?? your kidding right, the guy is the most overated player in the NBA.
Apart from that massive blunder its not a bad list.

cheers

Stojakovic just had a fair game 37 points 13/25, 6/9 (3's), 10 rebounds, 1 TO.

Wagner for Cavaliers had a good game too 20pts 4/8 on 3's.

I'd say the most overrated player in the league is the guy masquerading as a leader in Orlando.

The guy couldn't win in a one-horse race.

I am not sure about T-Mac. I mean at times I do think in a similier vain to you, but then I remember how he has carried the team for the past three years without much help. The upshot to this is that he is a player but I guess at times it must be mentaly draining when your franchise does little to take your load off your shoulders.

Before people start kicking and screaming about how they were unlucky, especially with Grant Hill thing, they have also made some stupid decisions.

What one must remember is that this franchise not only had Shaquille, but traded Chris Webber for Anfree Hardaway and I think two first round draft picks (that turned out to be lottery picks) and has nothing to show for this either. Overall if you ask me Orlando and T-Mac deserve equal blame and equal pity.

Yeah granted, he has done well in the past, however i just don't rate his ability to bring a team together.

Obviously his talent and performance cannot be questioned, however his desire and leadership certainly can be questioned.

Perhaps harsh, but it's just the way i feel.
