How do you feel physically right now?
We knew they were a physical side. I thought we matched them really well all day. I had the feeling today’s match was like a finals game, with the intensity and how the game ebbed and flowed. It was a good experience for a younger guy like myself playing in a game like that. I’m sure a lot of the other younger players will learn a lot from today.
Great to see that such a young guy is able to take the positives out of the game. :thumbsu:

Watching him this year, he 's improved heaps, he skills are sublime, he;s so gutsy, Judd is such a great role model for him, he is no doubt a future leader of our club.
And yes, it;s a shame he didn;t kick that goal...
Thankful he came to Carlton and not Brisbane.

Taken the 'step' these past 2 weeks. Almost ready to join the league's elite and this is great news for us. :thumbsu:

have to agree with all above ...

thought Gibbsy was showing more upside during the pre-season games and the first couple proper games ...

but Murphy has definitely stepped it up to another level ... he has that speed and toughness that gives him a different dymanic to Gibbs given he can break tackles and break the lines ... and its his improved disposal that has taken him to the elite level ... just think guys, every year in the system he will baulk up a little more and become that much more difficult to tackle and stop!!!

ps - I love the fact Gibbs brings a total different dynamic to Murphy in that he is more a reader of the play, with a unique ability to find time and space and set up play with his disposal

one brings grunt, speed and strength ... the other finesse, vision and space ... both bring a lot of class and quality

its almost worth the 7 years of pain ... and the most pleasing aspect is that they are being taught by the best ... the Juddster teaching them what it is to be winner ... and don't sell short the influence of Ratten, Diesel and Bradles ... all legendary midfielders in their own rights!!!
