My new build

I'm a noob at this, so any advice would be greatly(!) appreciated.

Primary uses; 24hr torrent machine. Streaming 720p/1080p to ps3/360. Bit of photoshop. Some matlab. Playing Flac audio. General browsing.

Maybe dual monitors if I can get the cash together.

Budget $800 (would prefer 750 if possible)

Current plan:
GPU: 1GB ATI Radeon HD5750 $145
CPU: AMD AM3 Phenom II X4 945 $165
Mobo: Gigabyte MA78LMT-S2 $138
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 500GB $51 - Prefer Samsung Spinpoint F3
Case: Fractal R2 - $149
RAM: Kingston 4GB DDR3-1333 - $119
PSU: Corsair VX450 - $86
ODD: DVD burner - $25

Total - 878

Have a 2TB drive (will be more in the future) that I will slot in and I'm pretty set on the Fractal R2 or the Antec P183 as I want it to be as quiet as possible.

So now it's over to you. Any comments/suggestions are greatly appreciated. I've found these parts by reading forums (mostly whirlpool) so I'm not 100% sure they all work together.

Fractal case is on sale at MSY at the moment so I would like to purchase asap.

Have you tried the whirlpool forums? A lot of tech savvy people eager to help over there. http://whirlpool.net.au/

Also there's a wiki (called the knowledge base on whirlpool) which has the best builds for a certain task and in a certain budget. They offer a good starting point and you then can chop and change certain parts to get the perfect build.

Presumably you already have a monitor, keyboard/mouse and some means of networking this machine?

Thanks for the replies. I based what I had there on the whirlpool near-silent configurations. After speeking with the friendly nerds on the whirlpool build irc channel, I ended up with:

Complete overkill but will be amazing. Should be here by Friday. Along withe some new Audioengine A5's and a 24inch screen. Fun times.
