n00b question about Vista...

For those that have Vista or whatever...when you go to Windows Security Center were it shows if your firewall and stuff is on...

Were it says MALWARE PROTECTION it doesnt recognise the program Ad-Aware as a virus protection...

When you check what you want to do can i select: " i have an antivirus program i'll monitor myself"???

I also have Kapersky if anyones heard of it but its annoying...

Please Help!

I use avg-free. It's great really.

Ad-aware isn`t virus protection - it`s spyware protection.

Avast do a good free home user virus package.

Same as Avira, in virus tests it's rated around the same as NOD32.
