That's not crazy, I agree with you. My only point was that I'm starting to develop a real dislike for Richmond supporters. Maybe my development in that area is a bit slow...

Call me crazy, but I'd actually quite like Geelong to beat Richmond, and after that to go as far as possible. I know I'm the only footy fan in Australia who thinks this - but winning the preseason competition is NOT a bad thing. Success breeds success. It's also better than playing bollocks practice matches in the country.

We should send out a strong side, and play to win. Simple as that.

Absolutely. But I get extremely annoyed at people who imply winning the NAB Cup is a bad thing. You get a bucketload of cash and a good boost to membership. Ask North fans if would like to have more money or memberships, I suspect they would say yes.

You're right, we lose to Richmond it's no big deal if we perform in the season proper. Correctly that has to be the focus. But this season we've got everyone doing a preseason for the first time in years, therefore I think we should send the strongest side out we can. It also sends a message to established senior guys that they can't sit out the preseason and expect a game in Round 1.

Guys like Mooney, King, Ling, Milburn just don't need the game time like the kids do. S.J probably dons't need to play anymore games than he has too. Spencer and Callan are at an age where they should be given a chance.

Second game I would rest Ottens & Corey play Ablett in the middle and Ling HFF.

Like to see Josh hunt out of the back pocket to the half back line and use his kick a bit better for quick transition play.
