Do u guys think we will still have a go at trying to get nathan brown or do u think we will concentrate on soloman and stevens or maybe a ruckman?

A lot of rumors have suggested that Brown's preference was Collingwood except that Collingwood preferred Nick Stevens. If the Stevens trade does not go through, I'd think Collingwood would have a crack at Nathan Brown.

Brown is just money hungry he isn't worth 500. We would be better off with Solomon for 280

Its worth having a crack at brown, but i believe stevens and solomon should be approached first, ahead of brown
solomon more coz of his price compared to brown
they would all add to the lineup and all would be good recruits for the club

Been saying it for ever, we should go harder for Brown than Stevens!

Just looking at our forward line for the GF when we started. Tarrant at FF. And Kinnear, Cloke and Walker supporting him in there. It didn't fill me with confidence. You can't win a flag with a forward structure like that.

Nathan Brown is a matchwinner. It is what we lack. Apart from Taz kicking 50 goals, Brown would add another 50-60 goals from the forward pocket. A valuable commodity.

A forward structure of Chris Tarrant, Anthony Rocca and Nathan Brown would be dynamite.

Yea I'd rather have Brown, but we certainly cannot match Richmond's crazy offer. The Age also says that Solomon wants to play for Richmond as well

FF: Brown, Tarrant, Didak
HF: Burns, Rocca, Williams

thats just off the top of my head. Looks pretty good!!

Nick the Pie Man COME ON DOWN.

Yes, but at what cost? Listening the Neil this morning on sports 927 I dont think Heath is safe regardless of a contract in place?

I dont think the Dogs are stupid they are not going to let him go for nothing. The only thing we really have in our favour is that we have a real young list, not only in the starting 22, with the Shaws
and Clokes coming our way we are set up for a few years with the kids

I think that shut up the TASMANIAN, Cameron Cloke is a pretty fairy who is the smallest ruckman in the game.

Your showing your lack of knowledge of the game here lonie as he is not a ruckman and we as a club have never claimed he is. He is being groomed to play a key position role

Brown wants to play midfield so don't expect him to kick 50 goals whichever club he goes to. Just from rumours that was partly why he was dissatisified at the Bulldogs and if that's true expect him to go to a club that will let him play there.

oh come on.

"Dean Solomon is poised to leave Essendon in the hope of becoming a Richmond player next year after negotiations between club and player drew to an impatient halt yesterday"
