He's an outstanding footballer and has an amazing work ethic, he and scotty west are the 2 most deserving players in the AFL atm that deserve a premiership, based on there work ethic and their success as players over such a long period of time.

Buckley is not alone, there have been many true Champions of the game who finished their careers without the sweet taste of premiership glory, Whitten, Flower, etc.

At least he can finish his career confident that he left nothing in the tank, unlike Tarrant & Co
