I've had this on my mind for a while now and after reading a article on chris judd in the herald sun the other day, i am now more convinced than ever that nathan foley should become richmonds next captain !!
2009 will bring a complete changing at tigerland .. i think terry wallace will not get his contract re-newed, i think a younger coach will take his place ( possibly nathan buckley, michael voss, mark riccuto .. any of them 3 would be ideal )
after reading about chris judd earlier in the year about how when he started at wc, he (judd) and daniel kerr looked at the way ben cousin's trained and then they tryed to do everything he did !! because he was such a hard worker and such a good leader !! .. now chris judd has gone to the blues and smashed all there running records etc .. just goes to show how hard the wc worked over the last 5 years compared to carlton .. so you would now think that the young carlton brigade would be trying to train like chris judd now !!
this is where i started thinking about Nathan Foley at tigerland .. from everything i have read and heard from people, he is a running machine and trains harder than anyone at tigerland !! and after his 2007 season, it shows that if you train hard you will become a elite midfielder .. cousin's was a elite midfielder, then judd and kerr became elite midfielders .. now foley is becoming a elite midfielder !! ... so to end my thread, if foley keeps working harder and harder i hope the younger tigers look up to him and see him as the bench mark of how to train at tigerland !! he is our new leader in my eyes ..
