All tigers fans must watch this blokes every step in a match.
He wont take a backward step always in and under winning the hard ball.
other players need to take a leaf out of his book and toughen up or a win this season isnt in sight
Nathan is fastly becoming a great footballer and hopefully some day will be a absolute star and i can see him leading the club into a much better decade

Certainly if we had 3 or 4 Foley's the result on Sunday would have been vastly different. Makes it frustrating the way Wallace is reluctant to bring in similar sort of guys.

yeah for sure what a magnificent player
i have met him a few times and just a great person in general
he will be a leader

yeah that may be true but its great to see some young players having a go as in coburg are having a great season

Terry and Miller did an excellent job keeping him on the list.

As a rookie by all reports nobody thought he would make it.

All the supporters who were watching him thought we were wasting our time with a small player who never kicked. A lot of fans would have delisted him a year or two ago!

Good job Miller :thumbsu: The rewards of persistence taste great

Does a bear shit in woods?

In Wallace's post match press conference he said how he was dissapointed in all players except Foley and Richo, and to a lesser extent Polak.

Foley is a bloke who isn't the most naturally gifted football with his skills and size, however through sheer workrate he has gotten himself into a position where he is now Richmonds best midfielder. I'm not sure when his is out of contract, but expect him to sign for probably twice what he is currently earning

Foley is our only midfielder who would maybe just slot into everyteam (bar Weagles) in the competition

Super talented lazy blokes like Danny Meyer could learn alot from Nathan.

Only concern about Nathan is his clanger and Frees against count. But as he gets more matured expect that to be erased from his game

He's a gun, two years ago he was an in and under player and that was it, now he's improved all other areas of his game. He's coming along nicely :thumbsu:

He has more guts than 95% of the players in the league and thats why we love him and he is definatly in our current top 10 and will be a 150+ player for us. But he is low on skill so he will never be a champ. Young Jake King is the same with a touch more skill. He is also a beauty:thumbsu:

His skills aren't that bad! Has a very nice short low kick in the run on him, its the long kick into the foward line the poses the problem. Hopefully in years to come he will be the one getting the handball or the little chip out to players like Lids who pinpoint into the fowards.

I remember watching him a few years ago. He was the player i hate the most, he would always turn it over and do nothing with it. Has come in leaps and bound since then to be one of my favourite. His skills will continue get better!

Foley was the only tiger who could win a centre break. We were smashed in the centre so badly. One of the main problems was that Simmonds was too short and could barely get a hand to the ball in the ruck. Tuck, Deledio and Johnson were smashed in the middle. Tuck seems to have lost his desperation. We desperately need Polo back in the middle to help out Foley. Hopefully Connors and Casserley are not far away from making their debuts in the midfield. I'd keep persisting with Jacko in the middle too. He only played about the first 15 minutes of the game in there. We were only a couple of goals down at that stage

having Foley and coughlan in the middle together next year us could pay handsome dividends, we might actually start getting first hands on the prune, the workrate of both these 2 is second to none :thumbsu:

add Polo in there and you have a strong midfield. We desperately need a ruckman though. Simmonds could barely get a hand to the ball against Ottens and Cox over the last 2 weeks. Those 2 players have a 10cm reach advantage over Simmo.
