Nah 2K Sports normally has shitty create a player face that all look the bloody same. This year they've made it more realistic by the looks of things.

Gave the demo a quick go. Really liked the feel of it.

Haven't played a 2K for a few years bar the demos, this one definitely hooked me a lot more than previous editions. The shooting for me was what impressed the most, not really sold on the analogue stick shooting...never really have liked analogue shooting in sports games, but it did work better than other games uses of it. On top of that for the first time, if you're actually open to make a shot you actually tend to get it in!

Will keep at it to see what more I can get out of it despite being a tiny demo and post back as I do.

I was playing the demo last night and loved it everything was so smooth. 2k has Dirk perfect in this game, his fadeaway is awesome.

Dirks fadeaways are niceeeeeeeeeee... if you click LT(L2) and push the right stick towards he takes a bounce and does his signature fade.

Played the demo, it's not bad, shot 100% from the field, was dropping bombs with Dirk, still won't buy the actual game until the lockout ends so you can get rookies

Have you seen the my player insight.

If your not a my-player guy online association, legends mode, and creating a legend (using any player as a my-player) should hold you out for long enough for someone to create an accurate roster with all the rookies.

Buy game, play NBA's Greatest mode until the lockout is over, download new rosters, problem solved.
