How good is this game.

I love it, had it for 6 months and just totally wrecked havic.

9min quarters on all-star level.

Most Points: Brandon Roy (81)
Most Rebounds: Corey Brewer (24)
Most Offensive Reb: Corey Brewer (10)
Most 3's: Leandro Barbosa (8)
Most ft's: Steve Nash (13-13)
Most Assists: Steve Nash (26)
Most Steals: Brandon Roy (20)
Most Blocks: Shaq (11)


What are other people's milestones and what did you think of the game??
 
i've had for 3 days (:D) and love it.

i play with the heat, and my only decent milestone is score from opposite key with 3 seconds on the clock.

How long does a season take?

It is a great game though.

This is on special @ JB for $49, thinking about grabbing it today.

I haven't played an NBA game since NBA Live 95.
 
It is awesome.

I lost to Atlanta Hawks in the western conference finals as Phoenix, in my first season (played 50 games or so simmed 30)
Team was:
Pg Nash
Sg Barbosa
Sf Thorton
Pf Amare
C Shaq

Bench (good bench players)
Diaw
Bell
Ronnie Brewer

Second Assicioation: second season as (went 30-52 simmed every game) Minnesota I simmed 25 games and played 55 or so, currently 3-3 in the final against Atlanta.

Pg Randy Foye (81) (edit i just traded Barbosa for Roye, had telfair at starting PG)
Sg Brandon Roy (88)
Sf Brandon Warzo (80 rookie pick 6) (was barbosa, but traded him for Roye)

i love tis game, had it since christmas

its perfect except for a couple of small things that annoy me
1. the stupid trading, i turn CPU trades off because they will trade say Brand for Oneal, then Oneal for Brand, then Brand for Oneal again..
2. The Playoffs are no different to regular season matches bar a few logos, and the championship celebration sucks bad lol
3. i play on superstar and for the other team to be competitive i have to leave some of their players open, or else i would have a 30 point lead by half time
4. Yao ming, can't ____ing block him!@$!#!#!$

Agreed.


Great game but still does have a few minor issues.

Trading desperatly needs to be fixed, or at least have levels you can set it on so that i can put it as hard as possible.

one more thing that annoys me every year, everything thats wrong with 2k8, Live did perfectly (except the trading) the ASG weekends, the celebrations and player intros, nba 2k has the worst player intros out of all the sports games, even the old afl games are better
 
Might as well put my thoughts down.

First jumped on NBA 2K back in 2005, when I went in to EB and saw it was only $50 I asked, "Is there something wrong with this game?" as I had never heard of it and had only played Live before, when the guy said there was nothing wrong with it I bought it and took it home to play, I was blown away with how good it was, still played Live for a bit after that and even bought the next Live sequel, once I started playing that I relised that it was a peice of shit and have not looked back since, now that 2K is next-gen it just adds so much more, the graphics are top notch, the gameplay is great, and all of it is so realistic.

I would love to if i could fix my online problem on this game. (Can't play any games)
 
great game... my mate picked it up from JB today for $54 for ps3... and played it all afternoon... i've had every edition from 2k3 (or was it ESPN) and they havent released it on the old xbox... will have to consider buying a ps3 to continue, and join some online leagues too...

Am really enjoying this game :thumbsu:

Lightyears ahead of what I was playing 13 years ago. I still struggle to shoot consistently. Hit 7 x 3 pointers in a row with Larry Bird vs a mate last night.
