NBA Live 2004 - A really great game

Love the game. Does anyone else do a fantasy draft before they start a dynasty game? I found its a lot more fun. Ended up with Gasol, Milicic, Kirilenko, Melo, Crawford and others. Agree with Jod on 1 point though: its far too easy to get an awesome guard in the draft, spin around, drive to the whole, do the pro step and score. Oh, and post up moves for the big men: is there a button for a range of post moves?

Oh I dont play Live 2004, it's a crap game. I play ESPN Basketball. Way better.

Maybe in your opinion, I say they'd break about even.

Anyway I'm starting to flog opponents (20-40 points) on Live 2004 on the hardest difficulty playing 8 minute quarters, I've really got to get online multiplay.

Its a great game I reckon. I just miss Joe Budden's song that was on 2003

And also, they really need to do something about the contracts. Its way to easy to build an absolute dynasty. All you have to do is wait for a good player to come outta contract and then pick him up for the minimum once the season starts. You need to have control over exactly how much you pay player, not just set prices. Apart from that, its a great game.

Well I play 10 minute quarters on the 3rd out of 4 difficulty settings, and its damn tough. Not to mention when you do so much in 24/7 mode you can unlock a 5th difficulty setting.

Agreed. I have both games and IMO 2K4 sh*ts on nba live.
