News just in. Joel Embiid has been fined US$50,000 for a WWE style crotch drop celebration.

In "who injured now?" we got Trey Young out for 4 weeks (sprained MCL), Ayton a probable.

Why are there so many injuries this season? Or has it always been this way? I think not.

8 games round off the USA week, and kick off the AUS week. The Thunder have already vanquished the Pelicans who ironically had more free throws than the Thunder. Knicks-Bulls the pick of the games.

Some good points made to conclude the Week 1/2 Thread

Warriors away form questionable?
I love Steph as much as the next neutral fan but he wasn’t great in that last stanza & you’re only as good as your recent form & Dubs road form early on is a worry.

Dire warning for the rest of the NBA
OKC being 6-0 with no Chet, Dort or J-Will is sad for us all

Or is it too early to call?
Keep in mind Houston took them to double OT, same as the Pacers. They have beaten Dallas who have been extremely hit and miss so far and the other wins were against Wizards, Kings and Pelicans who at present are all struggling.

No doubt they are the best side for a reason but it is not as doom and gloom as you just have painted it.

There so many positives so far this season for teams that may have been mid table or there abouts this season so far, You can't deny the form of Luka and Reeves to start, Spurs have started hot and if Wemby stays fit or especially fit come the end of the season look out.

Steph/Dray look old this season if you ask me. A issue for GSW
Don't question Steph he is class and he will shoot them out of trouble more games than not but I agree with Green and Horford they look incredibly slow. Unless they make some moves I feel like their ceiling in a pretty solid West is Play In's at best.

Was surprised there was no tech for Joel at the time.

Ja ready to go off the rails again hy the looks of things.

Ja has been crap so far in all reality. A part of me thinks they should just blow it up and move him on.

Toronto seems the best destination. Gets away from the US bubble and think Toronto have the pieces to get it done. Quickley + picks should get it done

Knicks taking the foot off the pedal here in what has been a dominant display today. Brunson has been elite and Clarkson fantastic off the bench.

Giddy has been a one man show for the Bulls today doing everything.

I can't quote the other posts because somebody locked the thread, but worth noting that the Thunder have had 5 or 6 out, Topic, Sorber, etc. Ridiculous depth.

For all the Luka Doncic trade debacle also the Quinten Grimes + picks for Caleb Martin deal has been hilariously bad for Dallas. Grimes doing good work and Martin barely worthy of getting on the court

Problem with Grimes was his contract status, not his play. Philly have the same tough decision to make that Dallas did.

Realistically, signing Klay was the reason Dallas had to let Grimes go.
