You should be able to download it now? But as I've already been told in this thread, downloading is bad m'kay?
I love the ability to download rosters, as this is the first 2K game i've had on PS3. Downloaded the roster today that has the 96 Bulls, 95 Magic etc. First game I played as the Bulls against the Magic, got absolutely schooled by Penny and Shaq, I think Penny dropped about 48 points.
However, for the rematch, I downloaded some decent sliders and managed to beat them by 6 points. Absolutely loving the game so far, would play more if I didn't have an exam tomorrow. Lucky it's my last one so I have the rest of the week to play before Leavers

Hmmm never encountered this. For the next gen players, do your rosters sometimes get messed around with, so that the teams don't have their proper starting lineup? For example Michael Redd doesn't start for the Bucks, and Tony Parker and Manu aren't even in the Spurs team?
It's not as bad since the recent game update but I still have noticed it and it shits me because before every game I have to readjust the rotations

This happens to me when I play online sometimes.
I think with their live roster update, they try to make the line up reflect how it currently is in real life. So if you played as the Spurs a couple of weeks ago, Manu and Parker were missing.
Im not sure if I like this though. Sure it is realistic, but most of the time I just want to play with a team with their best possible line up.
Sorry if it's been asked but NBA Live 09 vs NBA 2k9, how do they compare? Anyone got a preference between the two? I'm not sure which one to get as i've played NBA Live for years and wanting to know whether it's worth a change.
The same is done with the FIFA updates, IMO it has it's pro's and con's, on one hand you will want to have your full roster available, but on the other, an injury to a star could unviel another star, or just a good player(As has actually happened in NBA ie: Ellis, Barbosa, Krstic, etc.).Anyway, while I think the live roster updates are good, there should be an option to only download player transfers and not injuries, like previously mentioned sometimes I want to play with the team's best possible lineup.
There's like a thousand search function noob threads, all in favour of 2k over Live
But you can DL the rosters with all the new players etc, then just adjust the rotations to include all the injured starters
